EarthLCD is the oldest color TFT distributor in the world. EarthLCD was founded by Randy Schafer in 1994 after selling his network company Earth Computer Technologies in January 1990 to a public company. (The Corporate Earth name was bought back several years later). We bought overstock TFT LCD's from LCD factories, laptop manufacturers and OEM's. We built many first products in the LCD industry to help sell these including 3M compatible touch controllers, LCD controllers and industrial monitors. In 2004 the revolutionary ezLCD-001 Color Smart LCD allowing fast LCD integration into existing design. From industrial to medical and even art installations we've help solve LCD and touch integration issues almost longer then anyone in the industry. We supplied LCD's to automotive, space, telecommunications, medical, industrial and instrument companies since 1994. In the 90's we supplied LCD's to Taiwan and China.
